The scientific community has a responsibility to develop technologies that can sustain a growing world population and address the environmental consequences of resource consumption at increasing scales.

The Catalysis for Energy Conversion and Sustainability research group is led by Dr. Melis S. Duyar. Our research focuses on engineering interfaces at the nanoscale, to develop new materials capable of catalysing reactions to supply society with fuels and chemicals at lower energy and resource input requirements than ever before.
